Odd
Yet it sounds tasty. Shame I couldn't chew those without boiling them though with my TMJ.

As a Jew, would you be allowed to accept a non-kosher meat card?

I hate to think what would happen if you handed one of these to a vegan.

I suspect its a hoax.

Who would use these? Chefs who specialize in meat dishes?

I don't. I suspect it's a joke.

You'll note that there isn't actually any way to order them.

When they can create photos on meat, that will be disturbing.

(I don't doubt someone could. Though I suspect the technology is being used for something more practical. Like, I don't know, anything else.)

On the other hand, apparently bacon can cut through steel.

"Actually, it turns out that ordinary American bacon does not have the structural integrity necessary for this application. I'm using an engineering grade of bacon, known as prosciutto."

A friend of mine showed me a sausage/LOx hybrid rocket engine. Unfortunately I don't have a link...

No, no, it's real. I've been following the progress on their Twitter feed, and there's been actual confirmation.

Also: a good interview with the people behind it.

In related news, my boss has these really thin aluminum business cards. I think I'll keep him well away from meatcards for the nonce. Next thing you'd know he'd have us typing on meat laptops and sitting on meat chairs, and talking on meatphones. LOL

I'm glad to know they don't come with a puppy. Somehow, that would be even more disturbing.
