I feel like as presidential campaigns start picking up more and more speed in the ensuing months, this would be the ideal time for Orson Scott Card as well as the developers of Shadow Complex to run a viral presidential campaign for the fictional politician Averell Torrent. It'd be one of the more unique marketing ploys utilized by an author or publisher to support a novel, and it could also further raise awareness of the actually fantastic video game related to the works.

It did. It's too bad Chair isn't working on a sequel, but they ARE working on Infinity Blade 2 (December 1 release!) so that's good enough for me.
eta: Now that I think about it, I'm not sure how they could do a sequel well. From the way the stories unfolded, I just don't know what they could do with it. Have it be based on the team in Africa perhaps?

Well, neither of the books or the game are particularly "new." But I think it'd be such a unique opportunity, and I'm not sure Shadow Complex was exactly the most widely known game by any means due to its status as a downloadable game.
