Its going pretty well Rivka. I was honorably discharged from the United States Army as a Staff Sergeant about two years ago and am now a Junior at the University of Saint Thomas in Minnesota. Its a pretty big Catholic university here and I'm studying history and philosophy with the intent of studying law in the future.
I'm getting married in July to a very wonderful German lady by the name of Madeleine who is from Munich. I met her while I was stationed in Germany. Other than that I don't really know exactly what to say. I really enjoy my studies and am doing very well in school. I love philosophy, if nothing but the fact that I get to be argumentative all the time. Philosophy, for me, is the most wonderful subject and I could go on for quite sometime. Anyhow, I wonder how many people I know are still are the forum. Hopefully more than a few.

You and Jon Hecht will either get along really well, or become mortal enemies.

Hello fellow Twin Citian! (And fellow kollapsnik, it sounds like from the oil spill thread.) I think I kinda remember you from before, but you probably don't remember me, I hardly ever do more than lurk.

Welcome back, BlackFox! Glad you made it back safely to the States. It's good to see you. You may remember me as Noemon.

I'm not from here originally, but I've been living in Minneapolis for almost three years now. I've moved a few times, but I'm currently in the Powderhorn neighborhood. Where are you?

I'm in Maple Grove, which is one of the cities making up the North West Suburbs ( Brooklyn Park, Plymouth, Champlin, etc.). I spend a lot of time in St. Paul due to school and the fact that a lot of my friends live there. How you do like the Twin Cities? I've been all over the world and have to admit that the area has a certain charm. Even with some of the traffic and crazy winter weather.

So far I like pretty much everything except the winters, and I expect I'll get used to those. Or if I don't, global warming is on my side
