Had to brag a little bit. I got selected to be an observing teacher at the STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) camp for teens at the Naval Academy. Three days of playing with all kinds of things there.
Today I got to check out forensic chemistry, testing for drugs and fingerprints. Get my butt whipped by a professor playing chess against 15 of us at the same time. Play with a computer programmed to keep an upside down pendulum steady. Tomorrow should be even more fun.
Plus I get a stipend of $1,000 from the department of defense!
