What an incredibly cool product! It's basically a pen mixed with an audio recorder that is used on special notebook paper. It records audio while you take notes with it. Then if you press it to any point in your notes, it will play the audio that was being recorded while you were writing that particular note. You can export the audio AND notes to your computer, and it even makes your notes into searchable text (how well it does this with bad hand writing seems questionable).
I can't tell you how many times I've gone over old notes and can't for the life of me remember what my note is in reference to, or what the relevance is. Or times when I realize I missed something important in between two blocks of notes. The function of this product seems like it'd be great for students and people who have lots of meetings.
Dear Secret Santa, you know what to do!

That's nifty - I would have loved one of these in university. I wonder what the notebooks cost, though.

standard style notebooks are 4 for $20. Not bad. Nicer journal style notebooks are more expensive. You also have to buy special ink cartridge refills for the pen, but those seem relatively cheap assuming you don't have to replace the ink too often.
It seems that the actual pen is the biggest part of it.
Assuming the thing actually works well I imagine it's a great product.
