Sigh. This game. I dunno what it is. I just lose. I lose against the computer. I lose against other players. I lose in alternate versions that they have online.

No matter what I do, I lose. I know the keys so I'm not constantly going back to produce units. I know how to build things quickly, so it's not speed. I know how to play, and I beat the campaign on hard. I'm in silver and I played hundreds of matches.

I just lose. It doesn't matter what race I play, or what I do. I lose every single time, to every single person, every single way. I know the game's basics, I know timing, I know units and how they work, I've played countless hours, it just doesn't matter.

Even silver level people beat me, consistently. No matter how long I play, it doesn't help. No matter what strategy I use, or how I play, they beat me, one way or another. I don't even mean cheesy things like void rushes, or cannons, proxies, etc. Just, battle for battle, I always lose. They get me, no matter what I do.

I mean, I can't even beat the computer on very hard. And that's not even intelligent. This game just doesn't make me happy. It's not fun to lose no matter what you do, or how you play. And whenever I try something new? That just kills me faster.

Do you ever try to attack and expand at the same time. That helped me a lot when I started doing it.

Or maybe its scouting? The are basically two ways to play the game in terms of choosing unit mix. Scout and react, or be agressive enough to force him into a unit mix that you can predict.

Have you ever watched Day 9? Besides some marginally annoying pre-analysis comedy, hes pretty awesome. Or show some replays and ask for advise from some good people after they watch your replays. I know a platinum dude whose giving advise/crticism to the other players on the board.

0Megabyte, how can you be in Silver and keep losing? Being silver surely must mean you know the game fairly well even if your mechanics aren't great. You must be winning 50% of your games to remain where you are.

But losing in 1v1 in this game can certainly be pretty disheartening, especially when a game lasts 30+ minutes. There's simply so much ego on the line and it's easy to interpret losing as being outsmarted. There's no teammates to share and lighten the burden of losing. This is why when I can't handle 1v1 I just play 3v3.

35% because you get more points for winning than you lose for winning, unless that was changed in the last month.
