It's a piano cover of "Letters to You" by Finch (specifically this version).
For the record, I make no claim of vocal or piano talent. The vocals especially I know are a little rough, and I slipped on a couple notes on the piano, too. But I had fun with it, and I'm proud of myself for accomplishing this all on my own, transcribing most of it by ear.
Anyway, let me know what you guys think. Try not to be too mean about it.

Nothing to be ashamed of here. The vocals were a little wavery (I know it can be tricky to properly modulate your breathing while playing the piano), and fell out of key on occasion, but you kept on tempo pretty nicely, and you got through the whole song. The song might be easier for you to sing in a different key, though.
You may wish to use a different angle for the camera, as the microphone isn't catching many of the mids and lows from your voice.
Lots of room for improvement, but good on you for putting the effort forth.

Very cool, ditto on the camera comment. Its one of my personal goals to adapt Regina Spektor's Apres Moi to bass and sing at the same time, if I can do that I would be very proud, so good on ya for doing this!
I think your playing was great. I would suggest trying to not finish a breath on a note, its like a seperate sound when you finish a verse that distracts the listener. Its easier to get away with while projecting to a room but mic's are cruel and I have found it easier to get the next breath when I havent spent all my air anyway.
Keep practicing and maybe try your hand at an amateur night or karaoke bar (some will let you perform alone if you are polite and efficient about it) you never know what could happen.

Thanks for the compliments and the suggestions.
As much as I enjoy it, I'm well aware that singing is not one of my strong suits. My range and endurance are mediocre at best, I have trouble maintaining pitch for any length of time (if I even hit the note right to begin with), and my breath control is pretty bad. It's a work in progress. I've made some improvements, believe it or not.

Ain't that the truth. All those little defects in my voice are so apparent. I actually do karaoke pretty regularly, and believe it or not I'm not half bad there. I guess the amplification/reverb helps smooth out my voice some.

For anyone who cares, here's another cover attempt from a couple of amateurs with some pretty ghetto recording equipment (can we say Rock Band mic ftw?), this time with the help of a friend for the harmony. Just about everyone will probably recognize this song. It's "The Promise" by When In Rome, which if nothing else you may know from the end of Napoleon Dynamite.
Once again, no claim of talent here. I am working on improving my playing and singing, though, so hopefully you can hear at least some improvement. At any rate, my friend and I had a lot of fun putting this together. I hope we at least came close to doing this awesome eighties classic justice.
