lets just give up and turn politics into a reality tv show where you get voted off the island the second someone sees you slip and fall or something

I think the real fodder for reality TV here is when one of the acolytes walks off the reservation after being convinced of conservative beliefs after listening to and following the candidates so closely.

Besides, I thought we already do your thing.

Trackers are common to all major campaigns - democrat and republican alike. You get to know who they are, and if you go to enough events, they get to know who you are. It was really trippy when the tracker for the opposing campaign addressed me and the others by our first names without us actually, you know, telling him about ourselves. Couple camera shots, a clever facebook stalk, and you can find out a lot about people through going through friends' lists.

The only thing newsworthy in that article is that the tracking has been outsourced to a non-party/campaign organization.

Samp, you saw the coverage of the Wisconsin protests this year. You don't think that's what politics already is?
