It's pretty good, I've been a Weird Al fan almost my entire life. I wish he released albums a bit more frequently, but after 30 years it might be getting old for him.

No, haven't. It occurred to me that maybe it was time for a new Weird Al album. Now to see if I've gotten old enough that I don't know the original songs.
Nope! yay. Off to buy soon.

You can stream the album legally from here.
I'm a big Weird Al fan and this one doesn't disappoint. I kinda don't like how much I like Party in the CIA, though.

I am old. I only recognized the source material for two songs - one of which only because of the uproar over Gaga (or her manager, whatever) not wanting it done, and part of the polka.

Whenever a Weird Al album comes out, I take the opportunity to become slightly better informed about popular music, if only so I can know what he's parodying.

I've seen him live and he seems to enjoy giving every song as much attention and detail as possible, so I'm excited to see him perform the Lady Gaga song live just to see what he will do.

Stone_Wolf: Sadly, I just get "the uploader has not made this video available in your country." message. Can you give a description of it?

DB: Lots of desert sun rises and rainbow colored overlays of endless roads and psychedelic lava lamp backgrounds/black and white with Al in black leather pants, a white poet shirt and a coin belt, lots of organ music and electric guitar...quintessential doors...about Craig's list.

We had second row seats at tonight's concert. It was a ton of fun. Here's Al about 3 feet from me: http://db.tt/2sZboxePosts: 3275 | Registered: May 2007

That's just the lighting in that photo. When he got close I actually thought that he looked much older than I'd expected.
