Any chance that any backend system for supporting mobile access here at Hatrack might ever happen? Navigating with a mobile browser is cumbersome. I use an app called "Forum Runner" with others and it works great.

Hatrack is pretty dead set on using outdated forum software with an unrememberable url (even for a member who's been here for 7 years), and administered by people grossly unqualified for their job.

But my dream is your dream.

It's not just outdated, it's not secure. Just FYI.

You could mail the administrator a list of, like, every user's password and ip address, would that work

Hey! If this forum's software was good enough for 1999, it's good enough for me! What, do you think you're better than 1999? Is that it?

I often find that partying has gotten considerably lamer since 1999.

Partying got better for me once I hit 24 or so because we would start doing stuff that wasn't unoriginal and lame, like blackberry mead instead of jager shots or whatever boring terrible drink people drink at college parties.

ALSO when you grow up enough you learn how you can just peace out and leave a party if some underage transient girl starts doing lines of charlie in the living room or something, as opposed to just hanging around awkwardly, then never go to those parties again.

You kids who couldn't drink in 1999, I pity you. Because, seriously, 1999 was really the last good year for parties.

Its sad (and more than a little funny) that Charlie Sheen has become a verb, and that I know exactly what it means without question.

Sadly, that was before my time too. I did watch DS9 as a wee lad, though.

I have found that through the miracle of video storage and playback devices, as well as data streaming, I am able to watch programs that originally aired in the relatively distant past.

That's crazy, Jake. What, do you have access to some sort of magical DARPA technology or something? The kind of capabilities you're talking about must be 20, 30 years in the future!
