I almost called this thread Slaughter in Syria. I'm still fuming over the security council veto. It's well past time to do something. We are seeing in Syria what would have happened in Libya if we hadn't helped.

It's time to push the Arab league for action. Time to gather up the allies and form a coalition. Time to save innocent people from slaughter.

Just what we need, another open-ended commitment of blood and gold. Didn't you learn anything from Iraq and Afghanistan? And have you not noticed that the US is broke?

Completely agree. If I were the US I'd be working with the Arab League to mobilize a peace keeping mission and allow to lead it.
