I know it is a little premature, but I wanted to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving. One of the things I am thankful for is this forum and all of you. I may not agree with many of you on a variety of issues, but I am thankful there are those that have different ideas than I.
I have learned much from all of you and I am thankful for that.

At this very moment I am thankful for tiramisu, and also the holiday pies I bought that were clearly an excuse to buy the indulgent little treat.
I am thankful to remain employed, and soon I will have a new manager who will allow me the hours I need to get a second job and make some big changes in my life.
Lastly I am thankful for intelligent people, both those who may or may not exist (solipsism at work) and the brand new strangers I meet at atheist events. And why not, even the rare customer with a little time to waste in the middle of the night and a fascinating personality.
