Objective: make DVD copies of family videos captured from a video

Setting: windows XP

Limitations: freeware only please, we don't have money to spend a program. (i am not looking for any pirated or cracked software.... something legitimate.)

How would Windows moviemaker fare in this circumstance.

Open to all suggestions.... thank you for any help!

Are you looking to do this only once? The Nero software offers a free trial (30 days?).

If you don't want to do a lot of editing, Windows Movie Maker will do just fine.
