It's in a line to be launched, has been for a day.
You edit your player preferences and it auto-drafts. We only did one live draft in our history, I think. I had a slow response getting people to sign up, so unless we want to not count week 1 we can't do a live draft.

And it's overall ranking of all positions, which means almost certainly that we need to start week 2, partly because we need to set up lineups before the game that just ended, and partly to fix what autodraft did to our teams. Autodraft is bad enough in a regular league, but with IDPs? Could be ridiculous.
If we start week 2, do we lengthen the playoffs to week 17, shorten them to only two weeks and four teams, or end the regular season a week early? (I'd probably go with the last option since we only have 10 teams anyway, and middle option as my second choice. Do we need to make any such changes before we draft?)
Edit: P.S. Sorry we were late to sign up. Superstation wanted to be in another league, and I wouldn't let him be in two. The other fell through (slow response, people doing other things), so he came back for the Hatrack league. Might be his last year, though, because he really doesn't like the IDP thing any more.

Basically you have to expect to redraft every single defensive player, because Yahoo's rankings are terrible.
Does the Autodraft simply give you the highest ranked player, or does it draft all the positions one after the other until full THEN drafts bench positions?
Depending on how it drafts, there's almost no point at all in even trying to set anything in the pre-draft rankings. Just expect it to be messed up and hit the waiver wire.

Well Superstation is pretty happy with his results, though they are not without flaw. He put in the effort to try to get his defense right, but unfortunately relied on Yahoo for some choices, like kicker. He ended up with two kickers who aren't on teams. Thanks, Yahoo.
And even though we're predicted to have the best record, Mighty Ketchups is predicted to outscore us by seven points over the course of the season, so they got the "best draft" moniker. A kicker would've fixed that. Thanks, Yahoo.
Yeah, that's right, Yahoo. You don't get an exclamation point from me anymore. Even when I'm upset at you, I won't give you the satisfaction.

Oh, and autodraft doesn't tell us what the heck it's doing, so we don't know. But based on the results, I'd say it drafts in the order you put (which if you use Yahoo's ordering means all your offense first, I think, because defensive players don't even start until around 250).

That's incredibly stupid (Yahoo's draft, not you)
I'm not particularly happy, but the level of my unhappiness will be determined by how the waiver wire goes tomorrow.
It went off as I was going in to try to set it up to at least have a shot at defensive players who don't suck. That failed pretty hard.

I'm reasonably satisfied with what I have going forward. I don't think it's a Number 1 team, but I'll have fun with it, and that's most important
