What is your favorite marvel movie? or maybe a short list ranking them? some reasons why maybe?

Any marvel movie, MCU, X-men, Spiderman, Fantastic Four. Live action or animated?

Most Marvel movies are very well made. I think my top two are:

Captain America Winter Soldier -- This isn't just a great comic book movie. It's a great spy thriller, action flick, period. The scale of conflict is small enough to make the stakes feel real. The action scenes are well choreographed. Chris Evans is a great Captain America and his story is both compelling and emotionally satisfying.

A close second Guardians of the Galaxy. The most entertaining and imaginative of the marvel films. I always knew Chris Pratt was going to be a star when I first watched him on Parks & Rec. His weaponized level of likability is on full display here. The universe is colorful and fun, and of course GROOT!

Antman and the first Spiderman tie for third. People don't seem to like Tobey's Spiderman, but I like it a lot.

Ragnarok. No contest.

However, many of the moments in Infinity War get honorable mention:

"We have a hulk"

"You're embarrassing me in front of the wizards"

"Get this man a shield"

"Why has she been up there this whole time?!"

"I don't want to go, [Mr. Stark], please, I don't wan to go..."

I generally enjoy all the ones I see, but I'm not seeing even half of them because there are too many.

Top 3 are probably Deadpool, The Avengers, and Iron Man, in no particular order.

Biggest disappointment for me was Guardians of the Galaxy 2. Just way too silly.

General opinion of the current movie Marvel universe: way too many different kinds of magic to mash together. Several times over. But some great writing, sometimes.
