One of the finalists for Best Screenplay in the 2004 LDS Film Festival is a script called "Feed the Baby of Love." Anyone know if this the same screenplay as the one under development by Fresco Pictures? Just curious.

There's an LDS film festival?
Excellent...

Yep. It started out small, but it's growing in size and stature. Unfortunately, with a few exceptions (most notably Mr. Dutcher, but others exist) LDS filmmakers tend to have more enthusiasm than they do talent. With efforts like this nascent film festival, though, that may soon be changing.

The summary on this page seems to indicate that it is the same story.

Oh, and "My One And Only" on the same page is also a Card project.

I'd hate to have a discussion here spoil the anonymity of the scripts as they're being judged. But then, THEY'RE the ones who posted the list of finalists, by title.

The script of Feed the Baby of Love that is in contention is indeed based on my story, but it's not by me - it's by a brilliantly talented young writer and actor I've been working with for a few years (NOT a relative of mine <grin>). I would happily tout his name, but for all I know that might compromise his anonymity for the contest.

[ROFL]

That is the funniest thing I've read on Hatrack in a long time.

But I thought Thor was Card.
