(Or at least, the other side.)

Well?!

Posted by rivka (Member # 4859) on :

[whine] It wasn't me, honest. (Although I did wonder what was wrong with my dialup at first when I had trouble posting a reply.)

I need my Hatrack! And I wanted to play Scrabble, and there were no Jatraqueros there. And the games I did end up in kept having people who flaked out.[/whine]

[Grumble]

It was clearly Noemon.

Clearly Jeni is trying to distract us from her own guilty conscience!

Um, heh, looks like I got the last post . . . ?

whew, I am glad I have been sick and out of commission! No one can blame me for this!!
Wild and crazy things are happening all over the web.

Yahoo is now bouncing everything it receives with an attachment.

Machines rule the world!

Yeah, it broke yesterday afternoon -- although I still don't understand how just ONE side broke. Where it this site hosted?

Hey! Just because the concept of a crystal with a relatively huge internal area was too dizzying of a concept for the servers to handle doesn't make it my fault.

This is the first time I've seen it where one side of the forum worked when the other side didn't.

Posted by eslaine (Member # 5433) on :

This side worked?

The forum index wouldn't even come up for me.

At least sakeriver can get back to RPG's!

Hey what's up? I need my Hatrack fix!

?
Very odd. My computer at work can load up hatrack no problem. The sticking point is that the other forum is not usable. However, my computer at home cannot even load hatrack.com.

Posted by Hobbes (Member # 433) on :

It was lke this for a little bit, then the whole thing went down so niether side was even loadable (along with all of the other sites like ornery and fresco), just recently we've been able to post on this side.

Rivka, I was at the scrabble and waited for you. I think there are a lot of folks there who are not playing scrabble, if you follow me. Hence the weird behavior. I actually went to sakeriver. [Eek!]

HEEEEEEEELP ! I can't live without Hatrack ! I need to tell Robespierre that there are many private schools and hospitals here, and SUCH a lot of things to everyone !
[Cry]
I bet it's a test. To see how we are addict.

And I had a really good begging the question that I wanted to post too!

Well, maybe they just decided that we all needed a chance to catch up reading some threads that we may have neglected due to the fast-paced, ever-changing nature of the forum.

Anyone else feel like Jane after Andrew shut off the jewel?

*twitch*

Posted by Da_Goat (Member # 5529) on :

Or maybe they just don't like us anymore! [Cry]

They just put this forum up to taunt us! "Hey, look what you used to be able to do! Bwahahaha".

I feel like I'm listening to Jewel after I was listening to Jane's Addiction and Andrew W.K.

Maybe our prostitution thread got to be a little much for them, so they're teaching us a moral lesson.

...We have a prostitution thread?

Posted by jehovoid (Member # 2014) on :

Well, I did a quick survey, and it seems that the other side has decidedly more threads with multiple pages, but at the same time has decidedly more "fluff." Which, I suppose, should be expected, as this is the more specific of the two forums.

Ack I've been in computer withdrawal all morning. I defragged last night, which apparently somehow caused Microsoft to think there was a network glitch and shut down my network card.

I tried most of the usual stuff but I couldn't figure out what was wrong, and so IT had to come down to get it taken care of.

And now still hatrack!

Pooka, it took me a while to figure out why I wasn't able to post a reply to the Scrabble thread. At first I thought my dialup just didn't like posting a reply while Scrabble was open (shouldn't be a problem, but my ISP has been a bit flaky this past week, or maybe it's my phone line), so I was in and out of Scrabble.

Plus, I found out last night that at some point the default lobby for Hatrackers went from Scrabble Lobby to Consonant Creek. I kept asking if there were any Jatraqueros around and getting only weird replies . . .

Wanna try again at 12 PST?

This is killing me! Why oh why is it only the other side that's down?!?

[Cry]

What horrible timing. I need my Hatrack!!

Posted by Koga (Member # 5646) on :

(((Vána))) I'm sure it will be ok eventually, I wonder if this side has ever stopped working for a while and I just didn't notice [Dont Know]

Posted by Papa Moose (Member # 1992) on :

So what's the deal -- it worked for three minutes?

*am so agitated I could scream*

The ONE time I actually have something remotely worthwhile to post on the other side, it breaks. And I'm working second shift today which means I can't read, which means I am going absolutely NUTS. And I'm broke and out of food, so all I've had to eat in the last 30 hours is a can of pineapple. Can you get withdrawal from not eating?

Argh! I paid a good thirty seconds registering for this forum, and if it ain't up in the next twenty four hours, I want a refund!

I'll also sue you for my high blood pressure and obesity, as soon as my blood pressure becomes high and I get obese!

YOU're right, rivka - after reading fiazko's last "booger belch" comment without even groaning, I MUST be nuts.

Apparently, this side is less broke than the other side. Again.

Obviously, someone has no respect for your birthday, Papa Moose. [Grumble]

Oh, that's right! Bump this old thread up instead of using my thread. [Grumble]

Posted by rivka (Member # 4859) on :

Isn't that the traditional method? Create a new thread, and then bump the old one, rendering the new one redundant?
