Maybe this has been mentioned recently, but I don't suppose there is any hope of getting OSC to put Angles back up on the site for a while? I really, really enjoyed that story, but I can't find it anywhere. Perhaps someone could either point me to it or convince an adminicard to put it back on the site for a little while. thanks

OSC wrote a book about a geometry shape? Or do you mean Angels?

Sorry . . . I couldn't resist. [Wink]

I hope it does get re-posted. I really enjoy that story.

Actually, it was called "Angles," and it's available in the self-published booklet Doorways (IIRC). That might still be available throught the Hatrack Store . . . I'm not sure. You might want to check there.

It was also published in Science Fiction: The Best of 2002 (eds. Robert Silverberg & Karen Haber). Got a copy sitting right here.

And yeah, it was a great story.

I'm still waiting for the sequel, Saxons.

And the thrilling conclusion, Jutes.

What is this Jutes you are talking about?

I'm surprised this thread lasted so long without someone making that joke.

Please explain.

Angles, Saxons, and Jutes...

Germanic peoples who crossed the English Channel (obviously not called that then) to settle on the British Isles.

Here is a quick link I found: http://www.bbc.co.uk/history/timelines/britain/inv_sax_jutes.shtml

Go geek humour! [Smile]

O.K. I thought I was all smart until you all refered to your little joke as Greek humor. I don't get it. Why is that Greek humor? I have the sinking feeling that the answer is painfully obvious but I just don't see it.
