i love it how in osc's books he makes these great heroes everyone wishes they could be like. although they might start to seem like larger than life people he brings them back down to earth with personal struggles and shows that there not perfect. for example, bean himself thinks that he is not controlled by emotions or other "human" problems. but osc finds ways for characters to show bean he is as human as anyone else when it comes to the mind. just thought i'd share my admiration for osc.

I love the ending of Ender's Shadow . But I don't know how they will incorporate that into the movie. Trying to maintain, for a movie audience, what Bean doesn't know and what Ender doesn't know will be a challenge. I guess it would make sense if they really emphasize the different intelligences (Ender was an interpersonal genius and Bean was a tactical genius) and all that was done to help them build their weaknesses into strengths. As Dimak said, against their "predilictions".
