I would like to see an Uncle Orson Reviews Everything and World Watch Book.
Maybe these could be yearly books combining all of Scott’s published articles.
Or separate books covering multiple years between the two.
I know. It’s all online. But I think it would be nice to have it all in one place in print.
There’s enough silly people out here like me who would but it.

You could buy one of those printer things...

Yeah! And bind it myself. Put some cardboard on the front with a cool pic and some glue on the back. Neat.

Think Scott would sign that?

I think he'll sign whatever you want if it's not copyright infringment. [Big Grin]

Glad you all are so supportive of Scott. Here I am trying to help him with another book. Might not be a NY Times bestseller, but I bet it would be a hit on Hatrack! And could be a yearly thing! An easy to put together book that would have yearly returns. Cool!

Doubt it. Folks around here tend not to be too keen on his articles. I like them, myself, except for a couple where he struck a nerve. But I don't know that I'd pay money for a collection of them. Not unless there were things included that don't get put on Hatrack.

People like Dave Barry can do compilations, because Barry's columns are primarily humorous. I don't know that I've heard of an editorialist or a reviewer succeeding with such a collection. Reviews and editorials both are of necessity time sensitive. Usually when an editorialist writes a book, it is a completely new work, not a compilation--I think.
