I was wondering if there was any interest in creating an AIM group for those of us who can't get enough discussion on Enderverse topics. personally, due to my job, I'm pretty much always online during the day and would love to wax ender with whoever. Feel free to let me know if you think this is a cool idea or a stupid one. If anyone is interested let me know and we can start building a list.

you could always go here P-web. and i don't think ender would like to be waxed.

Posted by Ramdac99 (Member # 7264) on :

anybody else?

Posted by SteveRogers (Member # 7130) on :

I'm pretty sure Ender wouldn't like being waxed. Especially hot wax. So don't use hot wax.

Posted by Ramdac99 (Member # 7264) on :

so far I've tried to ask serious questions and post items that interest me and almost every time ppl respond with pointless posts focusing on some word usage I chose, is this whole message board like this or are some of you serious sometimes?

Posted by Jqueasy (Member # 7085) on :

There's a difference between "pointless" and "humorous but poking fun at you in a way you don't enjoy". Just a pointer: if you want to get serious responses, don't use abbreviations so much, use correct capitalization and grammar, take a little time to look over and, if necessary, re-phrase your question/comment/concern, and search for similar threads before posting. You'll be much more valued as a member of the community that way-- especially if you don't mind a joke or two at your expense now and then.

Ramdac. That is not how we talk here. No cookie.

And I would call it "smart", not "brainless".

"Brainless" is more accurate

Posted by Ramdac99 (Member # 7264) on :

unless you can explain that misunderstanding the term "wax" was brought about by a flash of insight....

this ought to be good.

I doubt anyone misunderstood, Ramdac. [Smile] They were, in fact, punning off your word choice. Don't take it personally.

Posted by ketchupqueen (Member # 6877) on :

Puns happen a lot around here. Mainly because we have so many intelligent, well-read, verbose, and altogether not brainless posters.

Posted by Ramdac99 (Member # 7264) on :

Sheesh. Why was I so argumentative and insulting when i posted on this thread earlier. [Frown] a lot can change in a couple days. you guys aren't brainless, I guess I was just in jack-ass mode. no hard feelings? [Blushing]

Posted by ketchupqueen (Member # 6877) on :

You know, you two, you'll get your post counts up higher if you stop thinking about them and go think about some of the discussions going on, especially on the other side, and join in without keeping track. [Smile]

Where you thinkin of goin' P'guin?

Posted by 0range7Penguin (Member # 7337) on :

I'm thinking Cornell college over in Iowa they have a one course at a time program that looks pretty sweat. Its where you only have one course at a time and a course only lasts three weeks and then its over. You immerse yourself in one subject during those three weeks and dont have to worry about anything else.
