page 80 in my copy has volescu talking about the son of his sister and brother in law,
and in speaker for the dead ender says that the wiggin genes have been wanting to be active again, it's pretty safe to assume that in the hours that ender and peter spent talking for the hegemon book that ender wrote, you'd think ender would have learned he was an uncle from all that. just something that i noticed.
i don't have a copy of speaker of the dead so i'm running on my typically poor memory.

Well Val is Pregnant in the beginning of SotD. By the time Ender gets to Lusitania she has several children. If he can't remember Vals kids how can he be expected to remember people he a)Never met b)died 3000 years ago?

No he doesn't say that, but it is a direct contradiction to who Volescu is. He says "How are my sister and her husband doing?" in reference to Bean's parents. This saying makes him Bean's Uncle on his mother's side, whereas in "Ender's Shadow" he is clearly described as the illegimate child of Bean's grandfather, on Bean's father's side. So Bean's half-uncle on his father's side to be precise. It would have been more appropriate if Volescu had said, "How are my brother and his wife doing?" but really it doesn't matter, maybe he calls all his sister's-in-law just sister and brother's-in-law just brother.
Also, since the genetic material used in the eggs was Volescu's own implanted into denucleated yet already fertilized egg cells, that makes Bean his brother, or half- brother since they have different mothers. So Volescu is Bean's half-brother and half-uncle or something like that, either way he's a sicko and a great antagonist.
There is another error on this page though, Bean says that Volescu illegally cloned his brother and killed all the clones. The cloning was done legally, but he stole them illegally and yes, killed them all illegally as well.
