I think I posted before that I missed the Philly signing because I had a job interview for a position as a children's librarian.
Well, I'm still sorry to have had to miss the signing, but ... I got the job!

Good for you!! Being able to really breathe a sigh of relief after the whole interview process is such a good thing. Hopefully, you will have a chance in the near future to attend an OSC book event. I personally went to my first OSC event when he came to DC a few weeks ago.

Thanks, FJOC. Actually, I've been to an OSC book signing before. I just like to go to them because they're fun and he's a great speaker on whatever.

I would recommend going to a book signing if you can, but ya gotta live first, and part of living is working. Congrats on the new job!

I read the other side, too ... but all my opinions on culture and whatnot are posted in my "Uncle Orson Reviews Everything" column every week, so I would have nothing new to add.
