To whom it may concern, and I suppose this is probably somewhat of a noobish post, I have to say that Mr. Orson Scott Card is my idol. I've thoroughly enjoyed reading all of the Ender's Series (except the latest SOG), Wyrms, and the first 4 books of his Earth Series. I must say that I plan one day to emulate his superb writing skills, and if he ever reads this (since he's active here apparently), I'd like him to know that he has a 16 year old idolizing fan who one day plans to be a writer.

By the way, try playing Age of Empires too . . .

Starcraft is the best strategy game yet made IMHO. It even has buggers.

I was obsessed with Starcraft for a long while. DIdn't give up on it, I just no longer have a computer to play it on. I am typing this too you guys from school. Try Total Annihalation some time I'm sure you would like it.
Also big fan of OSC but have no author ambitions. I am a terrrible writer even though I have tried.

Oh another good game is one called Preatorians becuase instead of controlling individual units you control legions at a time. Like three archer legions and two swordman legions, etc. Very fun!

Well, if Mr. Card ever does read this (and reply, but let's not get my hopes up), I suppose it will eliminate the intangibile concept I have of him spinning around in my brain, and then let me realize that he actually DOES exist, and it actually IS possible to be as brilliant.

I've been turning on a lot of my Teachers to your marvelous writings Mr. Card, and most of my friends (the close ones anyway) have read at least 1 of your books. I can't wait to read Shadow of the Giant (sob, not till my next paycheck), but until then, I'm going to busy myself with rereading Ender's Shadow through Shadow Puppets . . . ok, done with that . . . what's next?

Incidentally, I had just finished those three books for the 4th time before I discovered Hatrack only 3 days ago, and realized the implications of a new novel. Ah, the suspense is killing me.

By the way, I've heard talk that War Craft is one of the best. I'm a personal fan of Command and Conquer though.

Yeah, SCBW is really a great game!

Personally, I play alot of CounterStrike Source now. I really do believe that it is a true strategy game when played as a team in matches.

SC (I DO LOVE IT) degenerates alot of times into who can be the most efficient miner and producer of armies, then just mauling your opponent.

Counter strike is a FPS, but team based, much like the battle room. If you have a computer that can run it, I highly recomend joining a group that competes.

We are full as a clan, our team is full, but we are always glad to see new faces in our clan server/s.

You really enjoyed Wyrms? *makes sign against evil*

No, really, though, welcome to our community. Make sure you check out the other side. [Smile]
