I get pretty tired of seeing people ask Mr. Card questions that are 9 paragraphs long.

Mr. Card is the best author in the world, not just because of his ingenious writing, but because he talks with and answers questions to his most dedicated fans.

Have some respect and realize he is a famous author and doesn't have time to read 100 long questions a day.

For those of you who do this....stop!

well you ever think that Mr.Card enjoys reading questions and answers them, of course we bug Mr.Card, but you must see that he is no ordinary man. Even though he may breathe like any ordinary man, laugh, he is a celeb(mabye only to us hatrackers but im sure other apreciate him). When people get such a chance to talk to an author that they look up to, and feel like its an honor just to get to talk to him through the wonderiss internet. I know that once he started interacting on his forums, i was egotistical. I know that some people ask a lot of him, but thats why this part of the forum is called Disscusions about Orson Scott Card. Its alot easier gettin the answer from him about him than anything else.

Tom, what is cute? What dafadox said or what TDP said? Or none of the above?

Oddly, none of your three options would be the full and complete answer. *grin*

Well, what is the answer?

Posted by Jay (Member # 5786) on :

That Scott actually has clones of himself and that is how he writes, directs, posts, and drives the kids around all at the same time.

This reminds me of a quote a high school physics teacher once told me...

Mark Twain once apologized for writing a long letter because "I didn't have
time to write a short one."

Kind of raps up the whole don't write 100 long question lecture. Huh?

Although I don't relate to the question, I relate to the title of the thread, so: Hey.

Pretty disjointed thread for smart people, no? So, I'll add my input: a giraffe brushing its teeth.

I would just like to add to dafadox's post that please don't ask questions that are:

1.) Repeatedly answered in other areas.
2.) Easily answered if thought about for more than 30 seconds.
3.) Questions that aren't really questions.<grin>

What do you mean by questions that can be answered with more than thirty seconds of thought? *grins*
