Was there an OSC book (fiction) a while ago that had a wife or a mother increasingly paying attention to internet chat rooms and letting real life suffer?

It seems to me like there was, and it may have even been a short story. If I am not inventing this memory, can someone give me the name of the story or book please?

It doesn't sound familiar.

Magic Mirror, perhaps? Not quite as you described, but some similarities.

Thank You Papa Moose!

I thought that it was weird that I could remember hearing the story line but not reading the novel. It was a fairy tale picture book! Just needed someone to remind me.
