I was browsing Amazon, insearch of books to buy for cheap off half.com (the only way I can afford my addiction while being a poor college student, aside from using the dwindling supply of novels in the NC State Library), and I noticed a novel called Ender's War which I'd never heard of before. It said it was published in 1986. Could someone enlighten me as to what this novel is?

I'm not 100% sure, but I think this is both Ender's Game and Ender's Shadow.

Was not ender's shadow written fairly recently? It said this was published in 1986, but that would make a little sense otherwise.

Huh. Good point.

I think it's a hardcover of Ender's Game and Speaker for the Dead, togethor.

yea, you're right Jaime. If you look at the ones that people are selling, some of them have it listed as such.

Ender's War is a book club edition of Ender's Game and Speaker for the Dead. It was sold only through the Science Fiction Book Club, so any copies available on the general market are used.

Is it still used it the person who got it didn’t read it and sold it to me?

Technically, yes, but if it's in "new" condition who cares? Especially if you're getting it cheap.
