Was the Crystal City the last of the Alvin series?

The Crystal City isnt necessarily the sixth novel either. The first five were numbered (ie The Fourth Novel in the Alvin Maker series) but The Crystal City was dubbed "A Novel in the Alvin Maker series".

The next one is the one where alvin dies. But i beleave he said he'll make more without Alvin in it.

??? How is it not the sixth novel? Is the publisher going to pull a 'Chronicles of Narnia' on us and rearrange the order of the books? Will there be an in-between-quel?
