Mr. Card, no doubt you are as busy as one can get, so I shall try to make this as quickly as possible. (I only hope I've posted this at the right forum...)

It is now said you are working with Mr. Mustard about Empire, a game that is beeing developed. I was hoping if you could tell me if Mr. Mustard intends to get back to the Advent Trilogy sometime in the future, wether this new project is a way to get money to buy the rights from Majesco or something like that?
I sincerily hope Advent hasint been stamped CANCELLED with big fat red letters, as it just would be completly unfair to see such a brilliant story never reaching its end.

Hope to hear from you soon.

The property is now in the hands of Majesco ... but without Donald Mustard attached. He's working on a project entitled "Empire" with a novel being written by ... um ... me.

As to Advent, I hope it does NOT disappear ... but for now, Mustard has moved on; it may be that at some future date it will be retrieved, but encumbered as it is right now, I doubt it will be soon - or if it IS revived, it will be by somebody else, which would be, I think, unfortunate. I speak of the future purely from my own speculations, however, not being privy to anyone's plans.

Yes, it doesn't surprise me that it may be some time before we hear any word about whats gonna happen to the Trilogy. Hopefully we'll hear something next year.

Thank you for answering, Mr. Card and, if its not too much to ask, could you please tell Mustard that no matter what happens to the Trilogy, whoever will continue it, it will never feel like an Advent if he is not in charge of it.

Thanks.
