Ramdac, publication was delayed because of a lack of a Hatrack quorum. Now that you're back, it should proceed forthwith.

No, it's never coming out. Does that end your misery?

Looking at your post history, it's only been a couple of months. [Wink]

Which book, by the way?

There’s Empire coming out November 28, 2006.

Oh yeah, the Magic Street tour. That was some good memories. I can't believe it's been a year.

TOR, my publisher, thinks Empire is coming out 1 November. Amazon thinks 28 November. Let's see who's closer to right.

Without checking with TOR, I believed the Amazon date and almost accepted a last-minute convention invitation - but, fortunately, we found out the truth in time. I can't be out of the country for the launch of my first political thriller <grin>.

But aren't publishers always wrong?

morally, if not temporally?

If TOR doesn't make the 1 Nov. date, it'll be because I turned it in too late to make it.

How about the enderverse books? Any speculation on when those will hit the stores?

That is the usual sequence.

For some reason when I read this thread title, I wondered if OSC has a book entitled EVER.
