I don't know about you guys, but I loved this book! I think it gets overlooked, I've got alot of friends who love OSC but haven't read it. I'd have to say that in my opinion I enjoyed it just as much as Ender's Game.
I've read Capitol too, but alot of it is already in the Worthing Saga.
So anyway, what did you guys think of it?

I have to agree with you, I put the Worthing Saga right up there with Ender's Game. It's just such an addicting read.

It really is a great book, I have yet to read Hot Sleep, or Capitol, but the world he creates for all the stories in the Worthings Saga is great, I even found part of that worlds origin in one story in Maps in a Mirror(I think).

It really is very cool. The whole ideas of swipes, somec, mind taping, and the Worthings, is just so cool.

I liked the idea's from Worthing Saga the best of any book. As in what it made me think about and all that jazz. It was, in my opinion, the most thought provoking of his novels (that I've read. I still haven't read 2 or 3). I think it's supposed to be classified as fantasy, so I'll go ahead and say that's my favorite fantasy book, after LOTR.

Edit to add: I liked it better than the Foundation series by Aasimov.

Worthing Saga definitely makes my top few favorite OSC books. I especially loved all of the stories about Capitol--very nice sci-fi feel to them. Also liked Hot Sleep in the recent IGMS issue.

I TOTALLY agree. And I'd also have to add that Lost Boys is right up there with those. I stayed up until 4am on a work night because I couldn't put Lost Boys down. Probably because Step reminds me of myself in so many ways that I HAD to read on.

Lost Boys was a good one too. I just put down Maps in a Mirrior, I've been reading it for the past hour or so and am kind of supprised at what I found in there... I just finished the "Tales of Dread" section. Theres some scarry stuff in there.
