In SP it says the Colmin (formerly Battle school) was on Greenwich time, but in ES it says Battle School is on Florida time.
I also circled several instances in SotH where it mentions Bean as being fair or white or needing to rub mud on himself to be darker than Surly. I don't know if these have already been put together, I would be happy to provide page numbers if it is helpful. I think these might be more relevant, since it is apparently the goal to cast a black actor as Bean.

Greek with African background. He's described as being somewhere in the middle, color-wise. Probably a little lighter than the average Thai, but darker than the average Greek.
