i have read all 8 ender's game books and first meetings in ender's universe. I want to read more Orson Scott Card, but don't know which books to read. Can someone reccomend another series.

Highly recommend the Tales of Alvin Maker...starts with Seventh Son....very different kind of series..combines real people from U.S. history with people in a world where magic still exists. Wonderful series!

I personally would go with some of the stand-alones. I always recommend The Worthing Saga, and Enchantment is great too. Treason and Pastwatch are good. Wyrms and Lovelock don't really appeal to me personally, but you might enjoy them. If you want a series, I'd second The Tales of Alvin Maker.
I guess my list might be a bit long ... In that case, read The Worthing Saga and Enchantment.
But, like I said, if you want another series, go with Alvin Maker.

I definitely think the Homecomming series is the best. It really depends on what you like though. Worthing was not near my favorite, on the other hand I really liked Wyrms, and Enchantment. Pretty much anything you grab will probably be good. Just make sure you don't start a series in the middle.

i would definitly go with the worthing saga, it's my favorite. but if you want a long series i'd say Alvin Maker.

Treason. It is an excellent book assuming that you can find it. My local bookstores and libraries are a little short on OSC books. Treason is a single book but it's been one of my favories all along. but like Daysh said, pretty much anything you grab will be good.

It doesn't matter what order you read his stuff in. The stand alones are complete stories as is the Homecoming series. Alvin will leave you wanting the next book, but in a good way. You could hold off on it to make the wait a little shorter.
I jumped into Alvin right after the first 4 Enders and plowed through them in record time. Then hit up Homecoming for a couple of weeks and then went on to read the Shadow series before I hit any of his single novels. The ones I have read have been enjoyable. For me I am prejudiced towards series' because I know they tend to have very well developed characters and will give me more to read.

I started with the Ender's series as well, but after that I read Maps in a Mirror. It’s a collection of a couple dozen OSC short stories, all with their own endearing qualities. If you go that route you can find out which genre of his writing appeals to you the most, and then chances are there is a similarly themed novelized version.

I agree... maps in a mirror is a dazzling display of virtuosity when it comes to story telling... I mean.. you CAN'T beat baby's with fins! I'm serious though

I read Maps as well after Ender. The book that I always highly recommend is Worthing, there are similarities between Jason and Ender.

I'd go with either the Homecoming series or The Worthing Saga. Honestly, the Worthing Saga is my favorite non-Ender OSC book.

I agree! The idea that absolute power does the OPPOSITE OF CORRUPT but creates a sense of duty... it's revolutionairy and actually true.
