I have a project due friday, (i know i suck at life) and it is sposed to be a map of the setting of any book or books we like. so I chose books I love, having the map be of the solar system. but I am having trouble placing battle school and command school. The better it looks, the better my grade. so if anyone can help I would appreciate it.

Well, Battle School is in Earth Orbit. So, somewhere between the Earth and the Moon.

Command School was on the asteroid Eros.

Check it out.

Of course, if you want to get cute about it, try to make up a starchart for the bugger worlds [Smile]

That would be cool, but i have no idea how many bugger worlds there are... or how to be cute [Frown]

My fantasy novels tend to have cool maps. Hard to map the solar system, since the relative positions all keep changing, with Eros variously nearer to or farther from Earth.

How about you give us the exact astronomical coordinates of the bugger worlds in the year 2200 (I think that is around Ender's time) so he can map them! [Smile]

Well, that's why you map the orbital path, as opposed to any fixed location of Eros.

I like the maps at the start of the Alvin Maker books, though I'm disappointed that they don't show the new states. Maybe an update would be in order for Master Alvin?

my teacher loves me enough to give me another week [Smile]
After looking around a bit i found a program called Celestia. It lets me serf around the known universe and look and roughly any star or planet. The prgram will let me record video, so i was thinking of doing a video map. i have already found Eros and i can track its orbit, just as Javert said. and sence i can go to other systems in no time at all and look the star and planets revolving it. it would not be to hard at all to go to where a bugger world might acually be in OSC's eyes.
