I was hoping to point a friend toward OSC's essay about the importance/role of stories, which I first encountered in Maps in a Mirror. I could have sworn a newish version of this essay, or the main points at least, was recently (last few months) featured in the Uncle Orson Reviews Everything column, but when I ran a search on this site I didn't find anything of the sort.
I also didn't find anything from my various google searches.
I am really hoping to find something online to link her to, rather than telling her to go find this huge fat book at the library just to read the article in the beginning.
