In his afterward, OSC says he makes a brief cameo in the audiobook production. My guess was that he voiced Admiral Chamrajnagar, but I wanted to know if anyone knew for sure.

Heh, you're going to make me listen to that book again aren't you. In Ender's Game, he may have voiced Chamrajnagar, or another minor character with a seperate voice. I think Imbu had one. I'll listen and get back to you. The main part that I remember him raeding was in Xenocide, he read the scene describing Grego's view as he rallied the mob. At least I think it was him... :-P

I'll probably listen to it and reply again in the future.

I think it was Chamrajnagar as well, but I'm not sure.

The funny thing is, the voice I associate with OSC, even though I have heard him speak several times, is that of Stephan Rudniki (sp). If I ever hear Rudniki's voice in public I will likely start looking around for OSC [Smile]

He did indeed voice Chamrajnagar. He's said so on this forum before. He didn't do too poor a job with that Indian accent, I must say!

OSC has done the reading on a number of his other audio books and he's excellent at it. Must be all that stage acting he did back in the day. [Smile]

By the way, if any of you are able to catch the audiobook Wyrms, his daughter Emily does all the narration and she totally rocks it. She's every bit as good as Stephan Rudnicki and Gabrielle DeCuir. I hope she does more audiobooks (not just her dad's, either) - she is a real pleasure to listen to.

I haven't caught Wyrms yet, so I haven't heard Emily. However, I'm pretty sure it was Card himself that read the Elephant story on the audio version of Maps... and it was excellent.
