Orson Scott Card is my favorite author and personal hero, yet, I disagree with him on so many aspects (politically, ethically, religiously, etc.) I am a far left atheist and Card is my hero. Does anyone else have this kind of relationship with Card?

Be sure to visit the other side of the forum, that's where we do most of our talking. There's a good mix of people around here, a lot of people who lean to the left, politically, a lot of people who lean to the right, and a healthy gaggle of folks in the middle. Somehow we manage to get along.....sometimes.
I think it's a credit to OSC's gifts as a writer and the depth of his understanding of human beings -- the way we think, the reasons we do the things we do -- that he has fans with so many varied perspectives.
