. . . Or does everything associated with Ender's Game go through a flurry of exciting press releases and fall off the face of the Earth?

Chair Entertainment's website lists "Empire" as a current project (hardly the game we want, I'll say, with the obvious qualifier "unless it's really good"), but has no mention of the battle room game (unless I'm mistaken, we were told about it in January). I hate to think that the game was sucking, or that somebody thought that it was sucking and canceled it.

So unless it's releasing soon, I'm pretty sure I don't want to hear another pseudo-update like the ones we heard about for years regarding the Ender's Game movie before it all slowly died.

If you don't want to hear updates about things that might not work out as planned, then you might reconsider reading fan sites [Smile]

The way I understand it, Chair acquired the rights to make the Battle Room game, but knowing a bit about how things work in that industry, they're probably still working on their older projects. It may be a year or so before the game has even started production. They might be testing concepts and demo engines, or drawing up concept art, but they probably won't make this their main focus before they get their former main focuses out of the way.
