I just finished listening to the EIE audiobook, and it was brilliant! The cast of voices was excellent and I was riveted from start to finish. I thought the book was wonderful, and I really hope there is another one covering the years between EIE and Speaker. I think the story of Ender in the "exile" years is just as fascinating as the battle school and Lusitania chapters of his life and I want to know more.

The small changes OSC made with the story didn't bother me a bit. I knew there would be inconsistencies and I allowed for them. But Ender is still Ender, and his story seems as profound and moving to me as it ever did.

I would be up to reading a book for every planet that he visits up until Lusitania.
I hope it was a lot of planets!

If it's the same cast as the others, I bet it was brilliant! That's how I 'read' all the other Ender and Shadow books. Kind of missed their voices due to reading Ender in Exile in paper form. *le sigh*

I definantly enjoy the audio format. Stefan Rudnicki and Gabrielle De Cuir are my favorite readers, but they're all good.

I believe that the total count was 20 worlds. It was mentioned in either late Speaker for the Dead or in Xenocide if I recall correctly.

I would also be up to reading a book for every world, that would be the best, but I fear we might tire if Ender.

I personally Love how he tells how that "Ender the Xenocide" Thing really came about.

The cast is expanded from the other audiobooks. I don't have it anymore since it went back to the library, but one of the cast was Emily Card.

Do tell! Guess I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for it on the MD audiobook website. Since I just finished reading it, it'll be a nice follow-up experience once it does become available. Thanks for the tidbit!
