The next book release? I mean, what with Civilization 5 being out now, I'm guessing along the lines of at least 2 years. . . . . .

[Big Grin]

And yes, this is a facetious thread, not seriously asking how long it will be. [Wink]

Actually it will be exactly 41 days from today.

And what book will that be?

Posted by kacard (Member # 200) on :

Pathfinder. See the home page of Hatrack.

I may be missing it, but I'm not seeing anything about it on the home page of Hatrack, beyond that interview back in January.

Hummm . . . go look on the home page again. There is a huge picture of the cover of the book. Not sure how you could miss that. Click on it. It will take you where you can read the first chapter -- though you have to click on the link to Chapter One.

I can see it fine in Firefox, but in Google Chrome it appears for an instant and then disappears and leaves just a black bar with the Barnes & Noble and Amazon icons. It might be a problem with ad-blocking software.

Yup. It was my adblock software keeping me from seeing everything in the "ads" directory.

Different question... How long until the promised (or at least hinted at) sequel to Children of the Mind gets some traction?

I'm very much looking forward to learn what happens with our intrepid travelers and their first interactions with the desoladores.

OSC said yesterday that he's not sure how it ends yet. I imagine he has to decide that first. [Wink] He has also committed to finishing the two new trilogies in quick sequence, so I'd imagine those will be priorities.

I'd forgotten all about Shadows in Flight. It's really going to be great to see how that all works out. While I find Bean interesting, Ender's storyline has always been the biggest object of my fascination with the Enderverse.

Civ V is buggy, we are waiting for the patch !

Haha, Civ five is noticeably less buggy now, and it's awesome. I just wish there was a way that you could simultaneously attack with units, the way it works in real life.

lol.. no one even talks about finishing the Women of Genesis series anymore. :-(

Though I've been bad and haven't even gotten to Pathfinder yet. I'm SO far behind on my reading.

Yesterday... The Lost Gate. Good book. Extra fun if you've been to D.C. lately.
