I'm glad he did. Don't get me wrong. But "it's moot" ain't "I was wrong and I'm sorry." Not by a long shot.

I would never begrudge anyone their personal beliefs. But NOM (and guilt by association and voluntary participation, OSC) are, lets not mince words here friends, evil bigoted fundamentalists who actively attempted to legislate a minority into oppressed second class citizens.

I'm glad OSC is not a neo Nazi. I'm thrilled he is in no way associated with the Klu Klux Klan. I'm happy he would is -no longer- on the board of NOM.

But hanging up your hood is just not the same as being sorry for hurting people. People who just want to openly share their lives with the person they love.

I could care less what people believe in their personal lives. Just not my business. But when you take it upon yourself to dictate who's love is allowed and whose should be a crime you are moving beyond simple opinion into something dark and something wrong.

Good for you for stepping down from NOM Mr. Card. As a loyal fan it makes me proud. Now, please, make it right. Please acknowledge that your involvement with them was wrong and you are sorry for
your involvement in oppression.
