Okay, someone needs to alert the site maintainers right now to keep a copy of the nightly backup from last night around and not overwrite it tonight.

So, I'm new here and was wondering if you guys think Jake Lloyd would be a better kid to play Ender than Haley Joel Osment. Both of them are so cute, you know.

Click on the little quotation marks that you see on each post.

What's a landmark, anyway? Do I have to write one when I get to 100 posts?

Hatrack was down earlier for me. I got the "don't panic" message and everything. And then *my* internet died. [Roll Eyes]

Everything blanked for me, which is why I freaked a bit -- I have the default at "view posts from last 5 days," so it showed that no threads existed. And when I posted this and it showed up thread #1, I was afraid something had gone massively wrong and the entirety of the Hatrack River Forum was gone.

Apparently the webmaster was doing some maintenance, and had neglected to close the forum before doing so. He closed it shortly thereafter, and upon its return it was back to normal.

A strange side-effect is that this remains thread #1, even though the latest-written one (as of now) is #34,777. So even though Orginal Potry is the longest-lasting (at #18), this is the lowest number. And I have thread #1 in the landmark archive, too, so I'm pretty much all that and a container/quantity of nouns.
