I realized this morning who Molly, my favorite ex-roommate and de facto sister, reminds me of. She's Marge Simpson.

I call her once a week to be talked down from the roller coaster, and I used to worry that I was bugging her. No, I really don't think I am. I didn't used to believe it, because I didn't see how that was possible. Then, while reading a scholarly dissection of the Simpson character, it hit me. She's Marge.

She's also married to Homer, but my opinion does not matter and I've never shared it. On the other hand, she told me once that being friends with me was preparation for marrying her husband, so I should probably keep that in mind. It was just funny.

I'm not sure why I shared this. Just to show that there's a reason that show is so popular. [Smile]
