Some of you know about this already.

So I'm turning 29 this month. I think I've had a rather good year. In fact, I'd say that the older I get, the better my life gets. Sure, there were some really tough times this year, and I'm still rebuilding, but all in all I'd say I'm pretty darn happy. Which, I think, deserves recognization and celebration.

So I am throwing myself a birthday party! And since I'm still rather broke, I've decided to make it potluck to save some money.

Saturday, September 20th. South side of Chicago. Around 1:00 (or whenever people arrive). Bring your favorite dish and your favorite joke, and we'll eat and laugh and have a grand old time. Hope to see you all there!

xnera, I'm so glad to hear that you're doing well! Makes me happy. I was born and raised on the south side of Chicago...but now unfortunately, I'm in the Pac Northwest. (it's a nice place, but really far away from your party.) BTW What town do you live in out of curiosity?
