I think it is amusing.

Many people go through life trying to push other people's buttons.

What can be more fun than having someone think they are pushing your buttons while you remain calm and amused and simply reply back to them to push their own very open buttons?

Ther trick is knowing when to be the better person and finaly shut up and let the other think they have succedeed.

I avoid pushing people's buttons. Oh sure, I know where they are, most of the time. But there are certain soft spots that are unpredictable. If you press some peoples buttons, in some situations, there's no telling what could happen. They could go insane and try to kill you. Or they could deal with it, but most people aren't as even-handed with the things that really bother them. So I try to avoid pushing buttons.

I mean after all if you both think you have won then no one has lost.

However don't forget that your interaction is also veiwed by many in the forum who will form their own opinions of what transpired.

The key is whether your are so self rightious or uppity that their opinions don't matter to you.

Hmm, Is it better to care what others think of you or not to care and never even try to meet them half way?

Which would be better closing yourself off and growing on your own, or growing through feedback and concientious dissention?

I for one may be able to formulate thoughts and ideas on my own , but i do know that i am able to fine tune my philosophies based on feedback and arguments with people who will disagree with more than just some silly argument or extreme situation.

I respect yall because you help me grow.

However we all know there are as many ways to argue destructively as there are to argue constructively.

And damn right I do sometimes jump around in my thoughts and ideas. New ones are formulatring and growing from old ones all the time. In fact it is sort of like free writing sometimes in here.

I am at a juxtaposition in my life.

If you can name it it went wrong.

The choice to give up on the world and people has been close.

The choice to fight for the human race and oppose as much stupitidy has also been close.

Some days the good side wins,,,,
some days the bad side wins,,,,

People who pick on one little thing in a topic to rip apart or oppose without taking the topic as a whole as it is meant to be annoy me.

sure i know that sometimes a person meaning is not clear.

i dont sit back a analyze everybody's post for misspelling and then trounce on it.

I find buttons too easily. Normally, that just means I can annoy folks in just the right way to drive them insane, but when I get mad, I say the really hurtful words unthinkingly. Stupid, stupid, stupid. . .
