Y'know how you can never find anything when you're looking for it, but as soon as you look for something else *poof* there it is?

Well, I've been trying to make parachat cooperate for me for over a month. Finally gave up.

Just now clicked on Chat accidentally -- and lo and behold! It worked!

But there's no on there but me. [Cry]

Click on the "Chat" option up at the top of the page -- with any luck, you'll pop into parachat.

Well, I am on right now, probably for about 5 minutes... but no one is here but me, and nobody really wants to talk to me anyway so it probably doesn't matter.

Well, you could always keep trying... or perhaps you could right-click on it and select open, that might work.
