How am I ever to finish my super-fruity halvah surprise? I've run out of dates!

I knew it was just a matter of time.

How does 2/19/2001 or 11/29/1988 sound? And I've got plenty more dates where those came from, so don't be shy about asking for more!

I thought halvah was made from sunflower seeds. What are the dates for? Is there some halvah permutation that I'm not aware of? What's the deal Annie?
----- I can't tell you how pleased I was to discover that the tinfoil-wrapped blocks of a brownish substance that were being sold in the open air markets in Bucharest were halvah (which I had never heard of) and not hash. Of course, then I became addicted to halvah (particularly the kind that was rippled with chocolate).

Sesame seed paste, actually. And almonds, usually. And honey. See, the dates only apply in "super-fruity halvah surprise."
OK, shut up. How many recipes do you know off the top of your head that call for dates?

Fruit-nut bars.
Date cake (I've made three kinds).
Apple-date-nut cake.
Date pudding.
Spice bars.
Hmm, there are more, but that's all I can come up with just this sec.

Stop it! You're ruining my culinary goddess persona! Now I'll never get any dates!

Well, after all that, I don't have many left.
So I'll just have to do this
*pat pat*

If it makes you feel better, Annie, I'll still date you.
