Is today a holiday and I just forgot? Where is everybody?

I was thinking the same thing.
Of course it is a holiday, it's my birthday.

I think everone is hung over from the weekend.

You're telling me.

Makes me realize just how important it was to have Ralphie around, posting up a storm and wriggling her hips to get the Jatrequeros going.
You know, we might have to break down and have some substantial content again. *broods*

nah, I think if we just insult a few people it will get them posting.

I'm here! *echo, echo* It has been awfully quiet today, though. At work, too. Tom says he's the ONLY person in the office today.

Maybe someone needs to post on the effect homosexuals are having on abortion and how it relates to forieng policy. That should get something moving here...

Let's see if I can get something going....

I have noticed a general slow down of Hatrack in the last few days. Not quite sure why....

O Busy Days of Hatrack, we hardly knew ye.
Maybe a downshift in cycle? Maybe everyone is out having a life? Maybe we desperately need new people, and the continual inside jokes have scared some comers away? Maybe the get-togethers have filled people with real-life interaction, and therefore many Hatrackers are content with that? Maybe we desperately, desperately need Ralphie and Slash and Olivet and Pat and Tom to simply post more often?
I don't know.
I do know that I am currently sampling rather than greatly contributing. Hmm... will think.

Pat should take a peek at his fantasy football team.

The forum slowed down dramatically after Labor Day, and hasn't bounced back. Today does seem even slower than usual though.
I doubt that we're scaring off newbies--I think that right at the moment we're probably more newbie-friendly than we've been in a long time.
I chalk it all up to Mike's forum--all of Hatrack is over there, goggled eyed, waiting to see what Kama does next.

Dude, keep it on the DL. Too much of an audience might frighten her away.

I mean...I mean...everybody is over watching the D&D game not happen. Yeah, that's what I meant!

Maybe everyone's sick... I think I'm getting sick.... -_-

You folks can relax. I'm planning on mounting a mad-dash posting craze to make it to 2000 before my ISP pulls my plug (any day now. . .) Plus, I have other more mysterious reasons to post more.

Which forum is Mike's? Grenme, ornery, another one?
Posted by saxon75 (Member # 4589) on :
<--- Mike, by the way.

I think it coincides with the first tests of the semester, which you'll notice I'm not busy studying for.
Posted by Ryuko (Member # 5125) on :
Me neither... Not studying sisters!!!!
Posted by Annie (Member # 295) on :
Alright, Ryuko! I'm leaving the library now... let's go to Pier One and buy sushi dishes instead of reading art history articles.

Woo hoo!!! Oh wait... I have a scheduled French conversation... O_o... Ahhh... Euhh... Desolée!! Un autre fois, peut-être?
