The hug thread.
Posted by rivka (Member # 4859) on :
I started a thread that went to 2 pages!

The Hug thread should be commended for it's ability to attract newbies and lurkers who don't normally post. But as a thread, it makes my stomach turn. And turn, and turn. It's the reason why I don't accept online hugs.
Real hugs, on the other hand, are always welcome.
FINAL DECISION: 2 BURNINATIONS OUT OF TEN.

I give this thread a 2.5.

**hand it over reluctantly**
Go make your own thread, newbie.

What about this thread? Posted by Pat (Member # 879) on :
I don't rate my own threads.
And you owe me a nickel.

{hands over a quarter}
Go to my corporate taxation attempt, reply, then rate.
Feel free to rate low, I'm just bored. I didn't figure it would be a hot topic.

Link? I'm busy here.

That's actually has a lot of the qualities of a good thread. You put some thought into it. You wrote with some clarity and insight. The only problem I see is that you didn't make it sexy enough. I would edit the title to say something about shaved scrotums. That would get people to post in it.
I'll give it 5 burninations out of ten.

Posted by Pat (Member # 879) on :
Since all five are pretty much the same, I'll give them a collective 7.5 burninations for effort, a 5.5 burninations for readability, and 8.5 burninations for sincerity.
Averaged together, you get 7.166667 burninations.

Just as I get a job you start posting like the little attention whore you are again, Pat.
Will our attention whoring never synchronize again?
Posted by Pat (Member # 879) on :
Sure it will.
And I'm not an attention whore.
I just like to use Hatrack to entertain myself on nights I work real late.
And I really should be studying.
Posted by Ryuko (Member # 5125) on :
Yay! The not-study game!!
I'm playing that game right now..
Edit: America post!!! (waves around little flags that say 1776)

Looks to me like Pat is on the lookout for some new minions.
Beware.
One minute he'll rate your thread, the next minute you're a minion.

How 'bout this thread?

If that's NIS, it's worth significantly more than a nickel.
Posted by newfoundlogic (Member # 3907) on :
I know, but I felt like being unique and I couldn't think of what the Israeli equivalent of a nickel would be and it can't hurt to bribe, can it?
