I'm not sure this has ever been done before, devoting an entire thread to a mere link to another thread.

Oh, it's been done.

Countless upon countless upon countless number of times.

Does anyone else think of quicksilver swimming trunks whenever they see qkslvrwolf's nick?

In my mind they are, of course, silver and sported by a hairy meditterean man with large gold medallions.

Let me know how spot-on I am on this one, wolf.

Yes, but I think of Wal-Mart instead of furry men.

Now I'm picturing the half-nekked, hairy Meditteranean man in Wal-mart.

He's buying popcorn and a Sam's Club soda.

Ok, one at a time.

qkslvr is quicksilver, but it has nothing to do with the brandname. It actually has o do with a poem I wrote whilst I was in the depths of late teen romantic agony three years ago (thankfully, I'm pretty sure that poem got lost).

I haven't been swimming in years. I should fix that.

YOu nailed hairy, however, my predominant genetic strains are dutch and cherokee, with large bits of english and norwegian thrown in. And I'm very white, as I'm a geek and sit inside most of the day. Plus I hate the weather here in the south. its too hot to go outside and tan. ;-)

Finally, I prefer silver jewelry, and I like to keep it simple. I had a kokopelli neckalce for yeras, until it broke, and now I just wear a silver chain.

Wal-mart and sams brand pop.

I don't drink much pop, and its usually brand name when I do.

oh yeah, I'm early 20's, not middle aged.

The only affiliation I have with wal-mart is that there is a csm in a lawrence, kansas wal-mart whose an ex-girlfriend that I'd like to have sex with. Not date. just sex. OF course, I differ from arnold because A) I'd never touch her unless she verbally offered and B) i'd tell her my intentions first, then get down to it. SO I'm not too much of male scum. Just sort of. Depending on your moral set.

This may be about the most random thing I've read. Ever.

I think this thread illustrates why drinking and posting don't mix.

I swear I was totally sober when I came up with the gold medallion imagery.

Suuuuuuuuuuure, and I passed my Linguistics midterm today.
Ha.
edit: Support GGTIHMMWSTMOMH (God Get the Image of a Hairy Mediterranean Man Wearing Swim Trunks and a Medallion Out of My Head)
another edit: How's this one? "Remember, the enemy's gate is not the name of a gay bar." Yeah, it sounded better 5 minutes ago. I need to work a hairy mediterranean man into it somehow.
